Any debuffs are nullified once the shell is applied.Ĭomet rush is one of the most useful melee skills in the game, as it greatly increases the Tank's agility and can also pack a punch, in addition to having a 6 second cooldown. The time duration of the neutron shell is reduced by incoming damage and most debuffs will affect the tank through the shield. Just before the Neutron Shell (bubble) breaks, it will be reduced to nothing more than a faint white corona. It starts off a light blue color, as shown below, and when it has 1/4 it's duration remaining, it will change to a red color. The Neutron Shell is an ability which makes the tank immune to damage for a maximum of 8 seconds. This weapon stuns the enemy only when it is hitting their health, not their force field.
When the shield is close to 100% it changes from pure blue to reddish then completely red. It has a cool down up to 100% so don't keep it active all the time.

When aiming for max DPS a tech wou d avoid using its melee, but it had a short knockback (the enemy could still fire their gun), which could be very useful in 1v1 combat.The Tank is the heaviest class in FreeFall Tournament, with the highest health of any class in the game. The Tech's melee had no cooldown, and did less damage than the Pulser.
It is used most effectively when in a large battle with your teammates low on HP. The nano surge has a 10m AoE 100HP heal with a 30 second cooldown. The The Tech's melee is Nano Surge (which used to be its repair beam's R ability). This debuff greatly increases cooldown times, which can be deadly to a tank, and slows movement (effect increases by Suppressor Level). While the Suppressor is locked on to an enemy, it gives them the Suppressed debuff. Once the Suppresor has reached level 3, using the Tech's Q within its range will cause it to emit an EMP shockwave which deals high AoE damage. Level 1 Suppresors cannot be moved, but a level 2 or 3 Suppressor can be moved from one spot to another by pressing Q again. The Tech's ultimate ability allows it to place a Suppressor turret, which can be upgraded 3 levels.
