Again the portion size was extremely generous, with three cutlets piled on top of one another - and the lamb was really tender and just the right side of pink. Overall though, it was an enjoyable eat.Īs for my girlfriend, she ordered chargrilled lamb cutlets (£16.95). However, as much as I enjoyed it, my one criticism would be that the chilli within it slightly overpowered the flavour of the white and brown crab meat. The prawns were cooked to perfection and the risotto itself was creamy and rich. The foccacia was an excellent texture, perfect for sucking up the olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table, while the olives were extremely flavourful. In terms of portion size, the foccacia could have served as a main meal in itself three sizeable chunks of bread were flanked by a huge bowl of olives.

Despite it being a Monday night in early September when we visited, the restaurant had a decent number of covers - yet they were able to accommodate us, even though we did not have a reservation.
